WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
SCHOOL CALENDAR
School is closed on the following paid holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, President Washington's Day, Chinese New Year, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas. Childcare teachers have two weeks of paid vacation every year, and the school will not be open. The childcare teacher will notify the parents two weeks before the vacation and ask the parents to take the responsibility of arranging childcare.
REGISTER
Parents of new students are required to complete all enrollment forms and pay the first and last half - month tuition fees. Payment is made before childcare services are provided. Tuition fees must be paid before the 3rd of each month. If payment is not made on time, the school will charge a late fee of $25. Methods of payment accepted by the school include cash, personal check, wire order (Zelle). If a check bounces due to lack of funds, the parent must pay a $25 return check fee.
TRANSFER
The school will not allow non - parents or family members not on the emergency contact list to pick up your child without parental consent. If the school is una ble to contact anyone, we will notify the police. The person entrusted with picking up the child must be at least 21 years old and be on the emergency list. To have your child picked up by someone who is not on the emergency list, parents must provide the school with written permission signed by the parent when dropping off the child at school in the morning and present a valid photo ID when picking up the child.
FREE ARRANGEMENT
There will be no tuition refunds for absences due to illness, vacation, federal government holidays or other reasons.
ATTENDANCE
We expect you to send your child to school every day, and consistent attendance has been shown to be essential to children's academic success.
ABSENT
Parents need to inform the school when their child is going to be absent, and they can call the school before the child is due to go to school.
DROP OUT
Parents or schools can terminate childcare. Parents need to notify the school two weeks in advance if their child applies for withdrawal from school, and the relevant fees must be paid in full.
OVER TIME
Providing high - quality childcare services is our working principle. Parents who are too late will affect the child's psychology and bring unnecessary pressure to the child. If a parent is late to pick up their child more than twice in a four - week period, the school will charge $25 for every 15 minutes.
EXTRA CLOTHING/ITEMS
Parents must prepare water bottles, diapers, wet wipes, and two extra sets of clothes (coat, underwear, socks, bibs) for the child in case of emergency. The school will prepare a small cabinet for each child to store clothes. The school is not responsible for any loss or damage
